It is an older version that does not have the Reset pin break out (Required for Adafruit python I2C library). I followed the instructions but could not get it to work with the Adafruit Python library for the Raspberry Pi (either I2C or SPI). It may work with Arduino but you will have trouble with the Raspberry Pi Python library. [UPDATE] It must be some problem with my old Raspberry Pi board, but I swapped in a Raspberry Pi 3 board and installed Adafruit's adafruit-pn532-rfid-nfc circuitpython and everything is working now.
