I started using this product as my Dad had a VICTORY GARDEN in WW2 and we never went hungry because of what he grew. He used to tell me he was feeding his plants "DRIED BLOOD" he got from the Germans. I used to scream when he told me this but it did produce great plants. I stated using this out of sentiment but now I use it because IT WORKS. June.

Great product for the cost. Sent my garden soil in to be analyzed, and they stated to add this product. Very happy with the results.

Found this product while trolling on Amazon. I am a Master Gardener and wanted to give it a try. I like it and will recommend it. It is organic and will not burn. Is similar to Milorganite. It is slow release and feeds well. I noticed results in a week.

I don't prefer bloodmeal for it's fertilizing ability but more for it's bunny-repellent properties. It's working great for this purpose. My poor raspberries are finally recovering and not a rabbit in sight. Other reviews mentioned poor packaging. I did not have that experience. The fertilizer is in a plastic bag tied with a twist tie, placed a cardboard box (similar in weight to a pancake mix box at the grocery), and then shrink wrapped for shipping. I had no leaks and no problems resealing the box and bag for storage.
