How many cookers come in an order, it shows 2 but doesn’t say in the description?

It’s 1 but I assumed it would be 2 because of the picture ...annoying.

Is the plastic used BPA free, please?

If you look at the plastic code on the top or bottom of the product, #05 PP is a type of plastic (polypropylene) that's BPA-free.

How many eggs can be cooked at a time?

I have only cooked one egg at a time, but it only takes 35 - 40 seconds per egg, thus you can do several in a very short time. The egg rises/expands significantly while cooking thus if there is more than one egg, there is the chance that it would push out of the cooker.

Does the lid snap shut? Most egg cookers I have used the lid blows open while cooking.

I have been using this egg cooker for over a year with no problems. Try pricking yoke and add a little water. The lid just closes shut.
