I wanted to clean up and fix this laptop that was missing keys/membranes, and was dirty from being in a restaurant. I was surprised that I was able to find an entire new keyboard for such a good price. The old keyboard came off relatively easy by removing 1 screw (chassis screw that is roughly under the D key on the bottom of the laptop) and using a plastic spudger around the tabs on the edge to avoid damaging the chassis. After that just remove the ribbon cable and install the new keyboard. Keep the plastic spudger around for install as well to press down on the edges to clip the keyboard under the tabs so you don't damage any keys if you slip, and to also avoid damage to the keys from excessive pressure. On mine I had to use a a bit more effort to get the outside 2 edges to snap into the tabs (highlighted in pic) since they seemed a bit larger than the rest. Also there is a metal nipple on the bottom of the keyboard that needs to be popped into a socket on the laptop chassis that can be done by using the spudger to press between the "enter" and "4" key after everything else is in place (highlighted in pic). After testing everything worked as it should!

Fit perfect, it took me 10 minutes to clean the computer and replace the keyboard. 100% works as it should. Great deal.

It was ease, to install but the clips were short i had to add glue to keep keyboard in place.

Easy to install. Hardest thing is connecting ribbon cable, make sure black tabs are up. Perfect fit. I’m a novice but it only took 5 minutes. Well worth the price. Watched YouTube video one screw needs removed from the bottom.
