This tonic helps nourish and strengthen the heart and tones the circulatory system. In this formula we use the leaf, flower and berry of Hawthorn and the bark of Prickly Ash, both of which are supportive for arterial circulation. They also support the flow of blood to the heart, as well as strengthen and stabilize the heartbeat. We include the fresh leaf, flower and root of Dandelion for their healthy diuretic action. Anxiety is often a present and causative factor in cases of hypertension, and Skullcap and Lemon Balm help to calm the nerves and relieve anxiety. The heart-strengthening, diuretic, and anti-anxiety properties of the herbs in this tonic help to regulate high blood pressure.
