Great when you can't eat

Cannot go wrong with Gerber products.

Not long ago, I wrote a negative review about this product, but now I want to retract that review. I am a senior single male, and I have suffered stomach problems for some time now. I therefore decided to incorporate some baby foods into my diet, and I quickly discovered that the change helped quite a bit. My original review criticized the size of the portions and the somewhat watery consistency of the sweet potato. I mentioned that the taste was "OK". Well, I decided to heat up one of the cups in my microwave oven (through trial and error I found that 23 seconds is the perfect amount of time for heating.) After heating the sweet potato, I mixed in 1/4 teaspoon margarine. It was simply delicous! I'm now in love with Gerber Sweet Potato Puree! It is simply the tastiest vegetable product this septuagenarian has ever eaten, and so kind to my aging tummy! I'm hooked for life! ........ There. Now my conscience is clean .....

My 6 month old started solids a month ago and LOVES sweet potatoes!! I accidentally forgot to get some at the store and bought some from here to have extra on hand!

I started to buy these baby food when my baby turn 1 years old, he is 2 years old now, and he still like to eat them, and I really pleased with it. The tubs are super convenient for at home use, and the compact size makes it open and eat. The puree itself is smooth and easy for a little one to eat, no artificial colors and flavors, which is exactly what I was looking for. It gives me peace of mind that I am feeding my little on something good with good nutrition. My little one seems to enjoy the mild sweet potato flavor, and until today, he is 2 years old now, he still like to eat it. The only reason I am giving a 4 stars instead of five is that some tubs can be a bit messy if you don't open it carefully, and some of them are hard to open too. Overall, it's a good baby food. If you are introducing solids for the first time, this puree is a good choice.
