When I saw this product I thought it might be a bit less messy and perhaps leave less charcoal behind. It is definitely less messy than mixing it myself and it leaves a little less between my teeth than the other option but not as much as I had hoped. It does the job tho. Overall if you don't want to deal with the mess this is a definite option tho the messier option is cheaper.
