Love it. I have been using these for over 20 years. Every so often then just need replacing.

Great water! Easy use.
Provides great tasting water straight out of the tap. Our water is on the acidic side (6.7), but from the PÜR filter, it registers as alkalinic (8.3). I tested it to see if I could use it for my aquarium. My only complaint is that it continues to drip after you turn the water off for a few seconds unless you turn the knob off. The old vertical filter didn't do this. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

Easy to Install, Good Short Term Solution
We are very sensitive to the taste of municipal water. The area we live in has a rather bad mineral taste. We have always purchased bottled water but with the Covid 19 pandemic, bottle water has been a challenge to get. As an alternative we purchased a PUR PFM 100 Black. It is easy to assemble and install. Took less than 5 minutes. The filter has a by-pass valve, so you switch when you want filtered water. You should never run hot water through the filter. You need to run water through the filter for 5 minutes when first installed. Here is a summary of the PUR PFM filter. It is economical, the filter is good for 100 gallons, after which the filter should be changed. There is an LED light which indicates when it is time to change the filter. This is an economical product. You get what you pay for. I am looking to replace this after 6 months or so, if we continue heavy use. It does a good job of filtering. It is a bit of a problem in that it is bulky and can get in the way. It is easy to uninstall/reinstall. We got this as a temporary solution. We did not want to spend lavishly on a heavy duty system. It serves our needs for the current situation.

Not what I ordered, but I’m keeping it!
Replacement for a 5 year old Pur Water Filter. I ordered the black horizontal filter which I paid $8.00 extra for, what I got was a black vertical filter, that arrived unsealed, with 5 previous delivery labels to a customer in Minnesota, in addition to my shipping label. The box was not taped or sealed, I should be grateful it was closed, all the contents were in the box and it works flawlessly. I’m not requesting a replacement, this one works, in addition to it being a quick connect which will make it easier to keep clean. Enjoy the $8.00!

Broke after 5 months of regular use.
The Pur Filter was easy to install and worked well for the first filter and the second filter change. However, when we changed it for the third time and secured it the same as we did the first few times, it began spurting water everywhere at multiple points. We ensured that it was tight on our faucet and have tried to adjust it multiple times with no luck. For the first two weeks, the red light was blinking, indicating that it was not filtering and the filter needed to be changed (note the filter insert was brand new). After two weeks, the light began blinking green by itself and without any further adjustments, indicating that it should be filtering the water. However, it has continued to spew water from multiple points along the filter attachments, which soaks our floors and shirts in seconds, weakens the flow of water coming from the filter, and making us question, despite the blinking green light, whether it is actually filtering our water. Unfortunately, now we find this product highly disappointing, especially given that we need to know reliably that our water is filtered due to its high lead content. We trusted that this product would have reasonable longevity, especially since we have to purchase new filter inserts every few months anyway. Lack of clear warranty policies on this product are concerning and have made us very frustrated in determining how to go about trying to express grievances, get a refund, or a replacement offer for a faulty product.

Battery done after 1yr.
Really disgusted that the non-replaceable battery is no longer working after exactly one year. Apparently the filter still works but who wants to keep track of filter replacement. Hopefully PUR will replace.

Easy to install, cheap, water tastes great. Pretty much a slam dunk!
Installation of this filter system was quite easy. All I had to do was unscrew the current aerator on my sink faucet and screw the PUR device into it. There are three included adapters for more sink sizes, including interior threaded faucets. The filter unit slips into the black cylinder easily - though there is not much guidance as to what way it should go, and I kind of doubted it would do anything because of how it was seated. But, when I tested the filter, it did indeed work. Flipping the switch up lets water run normally, while flipping it down runs water through the filter and out a thin spigot hole. It's rather slow compared to a faucet, but faster than a standalone "gravity" filter pitcher, probably because of the water pressure. It does take a fair amount of time for the water to stop flowing after you turn off the faucet - I counted about 20 seconds until there were only very isolated drips. An indicator light tells you how far along your filter is in use. I did a visual examination of the water as well as a blind taste test. As you can see in the photo, the unfiltered (Chicago) tap water (on the far left) has a filmy residue, and it did affect the taste. The other two samples were from the PUR sink filter and from our PUR standing pitcher in the fridge. Both of these filtered samples lack the filmy residue. I put all three into the fridge to reach an equal temperature, and then I tasted. The unfiltered water was easy to identify from taste alone. The filtered samples were much cleaner tasting (i.e. like nothing at all) and I could not distinguish between them. This tells me that 1. they are filtering the water; and 2. that they filter about equally. For the cost and the ease of use, I give this 5 stars. It's really quite convenient and doesn't involve the hassle of constantly refilling a pitcher.

Was easy to install. Fits perfectly and no leaks. Good cleaner water

It was elegant matches my interior theme. The seller should include more compatible adaptor and more information on the 3 adaptors. None of them fit. Luckily i hardware shop nearby that the uncle recommend me a good fit which settle my problem. But there is another problem, water leakage. it took a while to get it solved by a plumber modification. After all, the water taste gooood!

This doesn't work outside of the US, which was not made clear on the ad when I bought it. Spent a lot of time trying to find an adaptor that fits both sides to use it in the UK, managed to find one, but still leaks everywhere

Not impressed with the deteriorating quality. Started leaking a couple months after installation, just a drop. Then got worse and about a year in turned into another jet! Great, the body has a split or defect. Hopefully KAZ will honour their 2 year warranty. Also bought replacement filter in amazon, named brand, but I’m wondering it they are knock-off m because they have a far higher flow rate than any PUR filter I’ve seen... UPDATE: KAZ Canada replaced the unit under warranty with the Chrome version. Not a fast process but it was honored. Chrome looks a lot nicer and not as bulky on the tap as black. Eitherway, like these way more than a pitcher filter. I just wish they were less bulky on the tap (smaller sink) and/or easily removable to leave space for washing dishes.

Received mine I ordered black to match the bar faucet I have. Surprisingly fit well but required a bit of wrenching to get it to tighten enough that it doesnt swivel too easy. No leaks. Light blinks when you turn it on. Hopefully it lasts long as it's mostly for drinking water in the basement man-cave. Taste is good so far.
