I am 43 years old, have very dry skin and have been looking for a long time for a miracle that will hydrate my skin and stay that way. I have used many over the counter products and items recommended by my dermatologist, but nothing made notable progress, so I kept looking. I decide to try Honest products because they had good reviews and the price was in the range I wanted to spend. I have been using this product for approximately 3 weeks, and I can tell it is the real deal. I have been using this serum (blue box) in conjunction with the lightweight daily moisturizer (yellow box). Because I wanted to make sure it was actually working on my skin and not just the effect of the lotion when used, I started by putting it on only one side of my face. After the second night of using these products, I woke up and could tell my skin still felt smooth and hydrated after hours of sleep. After the 5th day of use, I couldn't wait to put it on my whole face because I was sure it wasn’t just the lotion but an actual improvement to skin. Skin conditions before use: very dry skin, forehead flaking in places, cheeks red and splotchy, overall blah and unbalanced skin tones. Skin conditions after 2 weeks of use: more even skin tones, skin is hydrated and feels moisturized hours after application. forehead no longer flaking. Skin feels moisturized hours later upon waking. Quality of skin is improving. I can tell this product not only improves the quality of skin after application, but it is actually working to improve my skin overall making me hopeful I have finally found the miracle product I have been looking for. I wanted to wait 6 weeks to write this review but I am so excited by these results I had to go ahead and post after only 3 weeks. Note - the two products mentioned in this review are "no scent". I also ordered the deep hydration face cream (blue box) and this product felt amazing. It had a very strong lavender odor that smelled like "old lady perfume". The scent was so overwhelming I had to wash it off my face and returned product after one use. But the scent is NOT in the serum or LIGHTWEIGHT moisturizer. I think the hydration was probably just as great but trying to avoid scents on my face. If you have struggled with chronically dry skin like I have, give this serum and moisturizer a try. It has saved my skin!!!

This is a staple in both my husband's and my daily routines! This is a deeply moisturizing serum. It is highly effective and absorbs quickly with now sticky feel. The hyaluronic acid makes skin feel smooth and well-moisturized. It works really well in our dry MI winters. This is a repeat purchase for us and will always be something we use! Product packaging and bottle itself are all recyclable, which is beautiful for the environment, too.

I love this stuff...works as advertised!!! Makes my skin look so much better and more moisturized and I love that Honest keeps the chemicals out of their products.

I’ve only been using this for 2 days and my skin feels way less dry, like it took a big drink. I’ll purchase the moisturizer too. But it has an old sunscreen smell to it that I don’t love that I’ll just have to get over.

I love this serum, it's so lightweight but yet moisturizing. It's not greasy at all and I always notice a positive difference in my skin when I use it.

I apply this every morning before my moisturizer. This serum is genuinely hydrating, lightweight, and layers beautifully in my routine. After consistent use my skin looks glowing and plump. It has restored my glow in the cold, winter months.

While I enjoy Honest Beauty products, this serum has an awful smell. It works effectively, but I’ll probably switch to the HONEST BEAUTY serum which was included in the travel sized package, which I initially ordered.

I normally don't use anything on my face other than goats milk soap to clean it and vitamin E oil but lately been noticing my skin has been looking a little dry, especially on my forehead. I am 37 so I figure I was approaching the time a skin care routine but I just need a gentle help. My mom was an Avon lady and she swore by their Anew line so I am not necessarily new to skincare but new to using any. But I also wanted a natural, non toxic formula that was simple and effective. And I also have a fragrance allergy and chemical sensitivity so yeah, a tall order to fill for me. I am overall well pleased with this product. It doesn't have a fragrance at all. The smell is from the product itself and is very light scent. It's not bothersome to me at all. This is a huge plus. It has a wonderful moisture slippery feel. And you can feel a difference on your face immediately. It doesn't have a greasy feel either. I kept touching my face because it's feels like a baby's skin lol. The price is also as affordable for this kind of results. But, I will say, it seems to go very fast. My first day, I was unsure how much to use, and my skin absorbed it quickly so I saw a noticeable difference in the bottle. As fast as it's going, I'm afraid this could cost to keep using so time will tell. I'm hoping my skin was just really thirsty and after using the product consistently, it doesn't require as much? Time will tell though. Another amazing benefit of this is I had this weird rash for last year on my wrist. The doctor originally thought it was a spider bite but seeing it hasn't went away in over a year, pretty sure it's something else. I've tried vitamin E oil, jojoba oil, castor oil, and it seems to ebb and flow. I had read hyaluronic acid could be helpful for rashes so I put a drop on. The rash has gone down in less than a week! And I haven't been consistent applying it. One complaint is there needs to be more instructions on using. The instructions are as follows, "Thirsty much? Massage me onto your freshly cleaned face." That's it. I was looking for the box but On one hand, it seems straightforward. On the other hand, I have basic questions. When do you apply? 1x a day? 2x a day? As needed? In the AM or PM, both or as needed? The box does add the small detail, "Use AM+PM for serious hydration." How much do you use? Bc I clearly used too much on day 1. I already know the answer to this one after looking up but in what order do you apply this product? The answer is you apply this BEFORE a cream. That being said, I'm unsure why products assume you know everything about their product and give little, if any, guidance nowadays. Google is not all wise and knowing. Plus, I would rather see what the company who created the product advises rather than some some random person I found on Google. That all being said, I am loving this product. I am familiar with other Honest products so I decided to give this one a try. And I am so glad I did! Wonderful product. I did not know Jessica Alba was a founder until I saw it on the box. And yes, I read the boxes lol.

This is excellent! It leaves my skin very soft and more plump, which is what I want as a 46 year old. My husband notices that my skin looks better when I use the Honest skin care products.

Love this. Very happy with Honest products. Leaves skin smooth and tight, apply a moisturer right after. There is a scent, but not overpowering.

Product has been tampered with. Product is not the same colour as my current bottle and is only 3/4 full . Inside packaging has been rubbed and bent.
