This key fob is sturdy and looks fabulous. I dropped my plastic Polestar 2 key in a parking lot and did not notice the cheap plastic cover came off. When I looked online, the dealership wanted $99 for another cheap plastic cover. I was delighted to find this $25 fob on Amazon. I was impressed with the study packaging it arrived in, with a mini-screwdriver tool included for installation. It will not be breaking apart if I drop my key, and it is screwed together so it won't just fall apart. My only complaint is that it did not come with installation directions, so I had to watch many YouTube videos to figure it out.

So far so good. Love the feel and leather but you actually have to take the original covers off your key first before you can put on this case so it's takes come time. It also make accessing your real key or changing the battery a little complex but luckily I rarely need to do that. You also have to put together the leather strap yourself. Didn't take long but I had to figure out how to do it first. It is definitely a little heavier than my original key.

Well made especially for the price. Looks and feels far better than the original key albeit rather heavy. Would recommend for a polestar 2. Would be nice if it came in other styles.

This cover is attached to the key fob with 4 tiny screws. If the key’s battery runs low you’ll need a jewelers screwdriver not only to get to the battery, but also to get to the emergency key to open the car.

This is a great way to personalize the Volvo key. However, you do lose the ability to access the key blade inside the remote. You would also need to unscrew the cover to change the battery. On the plus side, the cover looks great. Has a quality feel and adds some personal style. Therefore, I gave this item 3 stars because of the inability to quickly access those items. If you don’t mind that, this is really nice.

One side of my factory key fob case broke. I needed a replacement and this was the most cost effective case I could find. This is not a sleeve for your factory case. This is a replacement which means you have to remove your original cast and then use this one. Very easy to install, there is no quick release which means you lose access to the physical key unless you have a screwdriver. It is a solid case that looks great. It is quite a bit heavier than my factory key, so taking off one star for this reason. This weighs 4.8 oz with the key fob in versus 2.4 oz for the factory key. You should be able to shave off an ounce or so by using your own key ring instead of the one provided here. Comes with screws and screwdriver needed for install.

Good build quality. Lettering fades away with time. This needs an embossing method. Can buy, as , other than the print it serves its purpose very well.

Fit my key fob but the part to connect the key ring and stuff, they actually gave me the wrong screws. I didn't complain as I just wanted something nicer than the original key fob look, but for anyone actually wanting to connect the keychain part to it, it's pretty useless.

It comes without a description or a manual or even a picture or writing on how you supposed to attach the (seemingly very weak) leather straps. 2x2 different small size screw included, none fits the premium round keychain. Such a disappointment.
