I never liked grip trainers until this
Edit: Reducing by one star as one of the trainers has started to split open and will become useless soon...its only been 2.5 months.I never liked grip trainers until this. It even feels good in the hand, and I catch myself using it just for the feel.Hand strength improved very quickly, and you can train in all sorts of interesting directions.

Much more comfortable than grips with handles, but ratings and consistency are questionable
This is my first set of grip "rings," so I can't compare them to the other similar products on the market - but I can say that these are soooo much better for me than those spring-based grip strengtheners with two handles on them. It's like night and day. Well, pleasure and pain.I've tried a few times over the years, from way back when I was a kid until now, to use those spring-based ones. Perhaps I just never got a good one, but they always hurt my hands from where the handles pressed into my palms and fingers. I absolutely hated them, and so ultimately never really used them.Enter this silicone rings. Wow, what a difference! Much, much (much) more comfortable. Don't get me wrong, though - these are still going to give your hands a workout.I've never had exceptionally strong grip strength, even back when I was working out a lot, and the 20-pound ring is perfect for me. I can squeeze it fairly easily, but I still feel the resistance and my hands will get tired after a set of 10-20.I originally 5-starred these, but after using them just a little bit, the black (60-pound) ring isn't that difficult to squeeze and actually seems easier to squeeze closed than the red (40-pound) ring. That makes me wonder about either their labeling on the package or material consistency (over time or production lots). It would appear that they use the same mold for all of these rings, so I'm guessing that they are tailoring the material composition to get different levels of resistance. Whatever the case, that black ring doesn't seem to live up to the rating.Related to them appearing to use the same mold, none of the rings have any markings to say what resistance level they are. It would have been great to have the ratings embossed on the rings, and was actually an expectation of mine from years of using weights that are labeled. So, I do like them - a lot. I can finally work on my grip strength without quitting almost immediately because of pain to my fingers and palms. A truly wonderful thing. However, I think that they should have been labeled with their resistance rating, and I do question product consistency because my 60-pound ring seems easier to squeeze than my 40-pound ring. These seem well made and make me glad to have them, but there are other rings like this on the market, and I'd suggest reading over reviews for those as well.

Great quality
Wow! Work well. Progression of difficulty of three is challenging for me.

They seem to get soft fast
At first, there is a lot of resistance in each grip. But shortly after compressing them a few times, they get much too easy. Still fine for keeping by my desk and squeezing every now and then to maintain my grip strength. But it would be nice if they kept their same resistance.

Awesome grip strengthener.
Great to workout grip while driving. Soft one is easy to use, medium one is what I normally use, hard one is very challenging for more than a few reps.
