Excellent Watch
Keeps great time. I like the militaty nod to the style. This has become my go-to watch from more than 30 to choose from.

Great Watch with Great Sapphire Crystal
Waited 2.5 years before reviewing. I love the gunmetal grey case, olive dial, and the exceptional sapphire crystal. The watch is still running great. During cold weather when wearing long sleeves, I make sure I charge the watch monthly by placing it under a table lamp for many hours because it died once due to no daylight charging. One problem is being able to see the minute markings. (The same watch with blue dial is much easier to read.) I also replaced the military-style band immediately with the excellent Archer 20mm Olive band (ARC-QRN-OLV20) and Archer 20mm Matte Gunmetal buckle ( ARC-BKL-GRYM20). I am only allowed to review once for this Timex model, so adding comments about the "Blue" version (TW2V03600JR). The blue version is the same watch but easier to view. It looks GREAT with the Archer 20mm Navy Blue band (ARC-QRN-NVY20).

A good, rugged solar watch.
Useful watch. A bit heavy. If you keep it in the light when not wearing it, it will stay charged. Luminous hour marks and watch hands a bit small/thin and hence a bit hard to see, but you can see if you look closely. Very rugged - good for outdoor work, travel, camping, paddling etc. All it does is keep time.

Good watch to wear
So the reviews were mixed that I read before ordering. However, the watch has kept accurate time. I synchronized the watch to my cell phone and checked regularly. In the past seven days, the solar watch has maintained accurate time to the minute. Overall, great product. Looking forward to the solar charging feature. Timex's web page and online directions led to a 404 error. So not a good image for Timex.

Surprisingly ugly watch
I immediately regretted buying this watch; I wore it for one day only, and I'm pretty sure I'll only ever wear it again if I have no other functional watch on hand. I mean, it works, it tells the time, but the band is pretty awful, the face is ugly, it's too large and bulky overall, and the numbers on the face are virtually unreadable. I'm very sorry I threw away the packaging before I realized how detestable this thing actually is.

A nice durable non flashy field watch.
A nice looking, none flashy field watch. At 41mm it’s not too big and not too small. The sapphire crystal is a big plus on scratch resistance; and the screw in crown is a nice addition as well. If you’re looking for a low key, reliable solar powered field watch that is both comfortable, affordable and has durability built into it, this one will be hard to beat.

Great value
Watch works great, looks nice and should never need batteries. The glow features don’t last long even after being in direct sunlight for hours, though it hasn’t been an issue for me. Only major complaint is the machined battery cover and knob can collect grime. Leather straps are meh but easy and cheap to replace with something much better when they do break.
