Review: XBOX SEAGATE 8TB HDD EXTERNAL USB - Bought this HDD as the NVME expansion drive was only 1tb and cost a whopping 199 GBP at the time. Microsoft were doing an offer for 2 NVME drives for 194.99 GBP but still 2tb was still too small and I would have to "hot-swop" them whenever I wanted to access the stuff I saved as it would be 2 drives of 1tb each. The pros were the speed which allowed "quick resume" and being able to play from external NVME. This might be features you want or maybe not its upto you. The HDD was 149 GBP it is a fast drive and allows me to save games on its giant 8TB capacity. I cannot play XS games or "quick resume" from HDD but you can copy XS games to the internal NVME. You can play 360 and some X1 games. The drive has a cool green glow and comes in XFAT format but if you want the most out of it then format it to NTFS as the files system is much better than XFAT and Xbox XS has no issues recognising it. The drive is good value for money and it allows you to store movies and music. I use the "Game Pass" and download my game as default to the HDD until I want to play them, as stated 360 games word of HDD and some X1 work of HDD. If you find your game choppy or slow them move it to internal storage and try again. Overall the HDD is very impressive and will give other HDD a run for there money. If you want a good value option buy this product if not then you might want to wait until the 2230 NVME storage chips are more readily available so that manufacturers can offer more that 1 or 2 tb capacities.
Review: Absolutely perfect for a big collection - The drive itself couldn't be easier to set up it's as simple as plug it in and off you go. I only have 50mb internet so took me around a week to download my entire collection but it fit 525 Xbox one and 200 Xbox 360 games with no problem and while you can't run series x games straight from the drive,you can store them there and just transfer them to the internal storage when you want to play them,this is great as it's much quicker to move than download your games,overall it's exactly what you need for a big collection and I highly recommend it, just be aware it comes with its own power supply so you'll need an extra plug socket spare

**Q: How can I delete  old information and totally empty  my seagate**
A: Hi all just have to do is Reformat it by doing so well clear the memory

**Q: Does it work with the xbox series s?**
A: Sort of. You won't be able to play Xbox series s/x games directly from this drive. You will be able to park games in it so you won't have to download them again.

**Q: Can you play PC games directly from this 16tb Firecuda hub**
A: These higher capacity drives are designed for storage whether offline or online. I keep my data offline, and when I need to, I add further data or retrieve it from the drive. I have 10TB high speed external and internal drives for everything else. I would recommend if you don't have SSD's to look into one or two, you won't be disappointed (just make sure they have very fast read / write).

**Q: I want to know if i can use this once formatted on my pc to store games from xbox app or my steam account?**
A: I believe that that's possible.

This thing is insane, I bought the 8TB one and have fit every OG Xbox, 360 and Xbox One game on gamepass, Games with gold, ea play and the 100s I personally own, and I still have 750GB. All you do it plug it in to a socket, attach that to the HDD, connect the usb to the Xbox and it's good. Your Xbox will ask if you want to format it, obviously you do and it doesn't matter if you select if it's for the 1 console or if you're gonna use it for multiple ones. Disclaimer, this cannot run S|X games, you'll need an SSD as the HDD isn't fast enough.
