The SHS Road Tour Pro Series STE-12 features tough wooden construction, a heavy duty metal grill to protect the components and are covered in road ready Tolex that is easy to clean and won't attract road debris to begin with. While this may be a budget priced speaker SHS spares no expense in the design and construction! Each cabinet is specially tuned with a computer aided acoustic design program that gets the most out of the specially loaded long throw 12" woofer and the 4" x 10" horn loaded heavy duty P-line driver! To insure perfect execution of the design, the boxes are CNC cut so that every joint fits perfectly. Every box is perfectly tuned for the maximum clarity of sound and maximum bass response! Tuned, ported and stand mountable, that's right each cabinet is ready to mount on a speaker stand as the 1 3/8" speaker stand cup in standard equipment! The STE-10 is the perfect solution when you can not accept sonic compromise, with a frequency response of 50 to 18,500 Hz you are sure to get all the bass and highs you need!. It sounded bad to begin with but now after only having used it (for live vocal monitoring only) it is rumbly and has a really nice fuzz to it. You should read "its already busted." Even worse is that its too heavy for Amazon to accept a return. So don't waste your time or money.
