My first electric shaver and I love it so far. But I'm sure it's what you pay for. I got this one because it's very similar to the one I decided on and it's about half the price. Great starter shaver for sure. Im still getting used to it so there is a lot of irritation. This one and the $50 one I almost got both have type c chargers. That doesn't seem very common for shavers yet but it's a big selling point for me. It gets closer than shaving cream and 5 Gillette blades, but there's a lot of skin irritation, which I think will stop when I get used to it and get better at it. I keep my hair as short as hair clippers will buzz and I just now shaved my sideburns really high and i just kept going. It's even easier to shave my head than my face with this. This is a great solution to getting hair all over myself and having to take a shower every time I cut my hair. It all gets trapped inside, but I had to stop and empty the hair often. It was very short from buzzing it yesterday or I wouldn't have tried it, and I did notice today that the instruction box seems to call it a head shaver. Edit: so easy to use now that my skin is getting used go it. And not gonna lie, I did not plug it in before I used it. Probably would've been a lot easier if I did that first. Cons: battery doesn't seem to last very long. I fully charged it and then put it away. A day later I used it and it was unbelievably great in my face. But when I got done and started on the sides on my head, I could hear it dying. So I hooked it up to a 4 foot charger and it shaved my head beautifully, though I felt the need to empty it about 6 times. It doesn't have anything to indicate when the battery is low or done charging. The red light comes on when I plug it in and stays on when it's done unless if takes more than 12 hours to charge. I am loving the foil style electric shave. I have never shaved my head without a mess or irritation. This is a game changer.

This was the only one within my price range and you have to go over a few times but it will do in a pinch. I gave it four stars because it's not comparable to a razor and I wouldn't know if the expensive ones are or not. It gets rid of the 5:00 shadow which works for me. It lasted about a year before the foil started to break down and I bought another one.

As an airline pilot I have to remain clean shaven all the time. My travel system is highly refined and each item has to be highly useful and effective to be included within it. I need simple, durable, easy to clean, and compact. I have traveled and used this little rechargeable shaver for over 2 years now and love it. It is a superior shaver over the many other Braun shavers I've bought, used, and thrown away. USB charging is easy, no AA batts needed, and the integrated battery provides a more powerful shave. The closeness is adequate. If you want a super clean shave use a safety razor and shaving cream. But I use this when I'm sick of that process (frequent) and touching up with the Styleader works just fine and you'll look acceptable for the day. Highly rec'd and it's a no brainer purchase at its low price. (this was a purchased item by me, not given free for a review, beware of those!)

Used it one time to test it out. I'm returning it as defective, although I think it is functioning the best it possibly can. The problem? It barely cuts the stubble and afterward my neck was screaming in pain. This look really cool but are mass produced crap.

Great shave but 2 have burned out on me no long beard or hair. Amazon will replace but the 3 and refund I have to go another city to return

Absolutely no irritation or cuts. Better and cheaper than the cheap plastic, throwaway, Gillette and Schick razors. Does not ever get clogged up and easy to wash out. The three blades feel very flexible and contour to your face without any scraping or rash. I used the first cartridge for two months and still going strong.

I am a razor shaver and I am insistent about getting all the stubble so I have avoided using electric razors because the never have shown to come close. Recently I was thinking it would be nice to have one I could use while driving when I needed to trim up an inbetween shave growth but I wasn't about to spring for ine of those high dollar units that have never shown satisfactory use to me. After seeing this one and reading the details and price I thought I would give it a try although I didn't have much hope for a great out come. Well, I'm here to tell you, I was wrong. This little beauty is amazing. It doesn't exactly compare to my regular Gillete razor and certainly not the speed of shaving, however, while driving and gradually conquering different stubble areas, it works miraculously. I can actually rub my face and feel the stubble-less feel. Being rechargeable is another great perk. I am totally sold on this little shaver and I highly recommend it as an adjust or main shaver if you are already an electric shaver person.
