This winter I've purchased a few slouchy beanies and this one is by far the one! 1. Fabric - super stretchy, super strong, vibrant ORANGE! I get the mail and put out the trash very early in the AM so the extra visibility is definitely a benefit. Drivers will notice. 2. Double layered. One single seam (I wear to the back) and 6 gathering seams at the crown. This provides the "slouch" if you choose to wear it that way. The gathering shapes it to cover your head if you pull it fully down and fold it up on the forehead. 3. Incredibly warm! Pulled over your ears you will not worry about getting frostbite there! 4. Did I mention ORANGE?

Perfect everyday hat with good slouch, thick quality material and perfect for my big hair days or braided looks. Material also resists dog hair! I bought in black, brown, and grey. Wish they had more colors!!

I have a hat. I've had my hat for about 25 years. It's my favorite hat. I wash my favorite hat. I have washed my favorite hat many times. I see that my favorite hat is looking a little flimsy. I can see light through my favorite hat. I save my favorite hat. I save it for special occasions. I cannot wash my favorite hat anymore. I fear that my favorite hat will dissolve into lint and be lost to time. I like Amazon. I like Amazon a lot. I was thinking about my favorite hat and thought that I could check Amazon for a hat that would be close to my favorite hat. Geez, lotsa hats. Lotsa prices. Lotsa reviews. Lotsa work to find a new favorite hat. I see this hat. It's a black hat. It's a plain black hat. My favorite hat is a plain black hat. Hmmmm.. Should I consider this plain black hat? Maybe purchase this plain black hat? This hat is inexpensive. I would have paid a lot of money for a new favorite plain black hat. I ordered this plain black hat. After two days, my plain black hat was delivered. I opened the package containing my new plain black hat. This new plain black hat looks like my favorite plain black hat. I did a little stretchy stretch of the new plain black hat. Hmm..stretchy. I put the new plain black hat on my head. Hmm..no scratchy. New plain black hat is soft. New plain black hat is double layered soft fabric. I found my new favorite plain black hat. I will retire my old favorite plain black hat.

I wanted something thinner than my current winter hat to wear to bed as that gets to hot. I switched to a turtle neck neck warmer over the bald head and that worked perfectly, kept me at the right temp. all night where as i usually take the winter hat on and off. So i was hoping this material and hat worked as well as the turtle neck warmer. Though this is not polyester and sure looks and feels like it and works just as well keep my head the right temp. all night. It is dual layer like layers stacked on each other sown together just underneath the top of the hat. Size wise i have a small head for an adult male and it is tight, not to tight but snug as in it is something you can feel pushing in on the side of the head but not harmful or cutting of blood circulation. Good hat. I don't like the dual layers, just my preference, doesn't mean there is something wrong with that hat.

Super slouchy and really pretty color. I chose to wear mine with a little extra slouch to it, but it can easily be folded and customized for your preference. The material is super soft and feels well made, and it didn’t slip off or down my forehead like other hats of these types tend to do. Great value for the money.
