I tend to get an oily scalp and hair fairly quickly but since I started using this shampoo and conditioner several years ago I have noticed that I can go for three or four days before my hair starts looking greasy and I have to wash it again. I tried an experiment during the cooler months when I was not sweating and I went a full week without washing my hair to see how it turned out. Surprisingly it still looked pretty decent. I will admit that I did have to use the dry shampoo from this line during the last couple days but as I said before it looked pretty decent. I only ran that experiment the one time but I am confident that if I were to do that again I would have the same results. They also had a pre-wash hair mask that you could apply to your roots before you washed your hair if you suffered from an extreme oily scalp. I did try this mask several times when I first started purchasing this line of hair care but for me personally I felt like the mask was overkill. I’m sure there are some people who feel it is necessary for their particular hair types but I did not notice any difference in how my hair looked or how much time I could get out of it with or without the pre-wash hair mask.
