I've tried several of the top beard pens on Amazon and this one is by far the best one, especially for very curly hair. I've bought it several times now. The main benefit is the applicator tip. It makes the application easy and great coverage, especially if patchines is your main concern. It works well for greys too but that is mostly secondary for me. I don't have huge problems with smearing. It easily smears by design when it is first put on. You can use a brush to even out and style how you want. Then just leave it alone for 10-15 minutes and it will set and stop smearing and coming out. ALL pens do this. This one does it much better than other pens. If this is a huge complaint or concern then you need to use a dye and not a pen.

I have used multiple beard pens and this by far is the best one I ever used! Also, it water proof and does not rub off easily.

The quality as of late has severely dropped. 4pens in a in a row, later, have not cooperated correctly. The dye pushes the brush up and spews out of the container. Was a very loyal customer but am very disappointed with the current state of this product.

Serve the the purpose they are intended for but they dry out fast

This comes in handy when I need to fill in my beard. Simple, easy to use. Twist it about 25 times before applying so the coloring agent can fill the brush. Then start applying. Don't apply too hard. Small, little strokes will do the job

I am here to update my review after 2 years + of using this and ordered this product over 20 times. First I must say I never had issues with this product until this year. This year alone I’ve recieved over 5 of these that were not good. It was really dry and wouldn’t come out when you twist but instead it would push the dry product against the tip and push the tip out as you can see in picture. Sometimes it’s good and sometimes it’s bad. I guess they have bad batches. The last time I ordered about a month ago the product was bad so I bought another one. If I keep getting bad products I will have to start looking elsewhere. It’s a shame because this product use to be so good and consistent. I hope the seller does better job on the batches.
