To begin with I’ll give warning that my thoughts can get a little scrambled..This book has been very helpful to me in understanding myself. After the break up I began searching for ways to understand wtf actually happened. I began to do that really gnarly deep dive into my inner self. I’ve found some peace with non dualistic spirituality. But I still kept hitting a wall. I wasn’t able to really work it out in my head.Until I was finally able to accept that childhood emotional and physical abuse was behind everything. I wondered where that magnetic energy I felt to a person who didn’t treat me kindly came from. And I wondered why I behaved the way I did.. triggers and projections. I’ve read soooo many books on spiritual healing, attachment theories, c-ptsd and codependency.. ive journaled like a mthrfkr, I’ve been in therapy trying to understand from the root. Because i need to begin at the beginning to start my healing. I’ve tried to read Jung but it it’s so all over the place ( like me)This book is giving the understanding I need ti begin healing. Immense thank you to the author ❤️

Such a great book. I’m terrible for starting a book and leaving it, but I read this all the way through!! Carl Jung did a great service to humankind with his body of work. I highly recommend this primer to anyone who wants to understand more about both the man himself, and his lifelong analysis of the human psyche.

I wish this had been available when first I came to Jungian thought. If I had my way this would be required first basic reading to anyone with a new interest in Jung. Actually come to think of it anyone who is not actually a Jungian Scholar already. It puts so much into context, a foundation from which to adventure forth into deeper studies. It is also a great resource & refresher for stuff you have forgottenMost enjoyable

Makes the key concepts crystal clear with plain language explanations. Jung In A Nutshell will really help people who want to understand why Jung is important and to read more challenging books on this subject. A useful, enriching book that entertains as well as informs!
