Folding Wedge Pillow Cover for The MedSlant Folding Wedge Pillow ONLY. Does NOT fit Any Other Pillow! No Zipper.

Came shrink wrapped in heavy plastic. Once opened, it had a bad smell to it. Aired it in an inside bathtub but got a headache, so moved the Pillow out of the house to the garage for airing. A beach towel over the hood of a car made the perfect spot to air out this Wedge. After 3 full days, it was fine. No more smell. Of course, we machined washed the pillow Cover immediately; The Pillow expands to its normal size once released from its shrink wrap.I do not sleep well on wedges but this is the best of all I've tried. The folding part extends longer than most wedges and is not as high, so there is more of a gentle slope. I love that it folds up and goes into a sturdy cover case for storage or traveling. The storage/travel case is made of heavy fabric with handles. No, this is not Samsonite, but it will transport this pillow with ease and protect the pillow wedge from dust.This pillow is wide enough to be comfortable but not as wide as my king-size pillows. However, since my Doctor wants me to sleep on this wedge for awhile (acid re-flux), I cannot expect it to be like my regular pillows. Still, this is the best wedge I've used.

It was way too narrow for me and I slept badly. Your sheets aren't going to work on this and their special pillowcase is a polyester, not the cotton I am used to. I bundled it up and sent it back. However, sleeping with an elevated head is a really healthy thing so I bought two cinder blocks and put them under the head of my bed. Works like a charm, circulation in legs is much improved and my apnea is a lot better. They promptly refunded my money.

After 23 years and several procedures that failed to stop my snoring, I decided to try an elevated pillow. I bought this one and also an extra pillowcase because other reviews stated that this U.S-made pillow has no odors (I also have allergies and GERD) and it has a handy carrying case. It is working for me! My husband has told me that I no longer snore! I try to fall asleep on my back but naturally switch to sleeping on my side. As long as I keep my head on the large part (above the fold) it works and is very comfortable. We travel a lot and the carrying case is very convenient. I wouldn't even try another brand!

Have been using the slant pillow for about a month, with this cover. Can't imagine a need to review the cover without the pillow. Not sure if it is helping with acid reflux control. I find it to be pretty hot to sleep on, even with my own pillow on top of the top (I could not sleep on the slant pillow by itself, I don't think.) Also, I find myself in the night generally slipped pretty far down on it, so I doubt that I am getting the raised head and chest effect very much. I will give it another month or so to see if my coughing--which allergist thinks is being exacerbated by not fully controlled acid reflux--is markedly better. If not, it will probably go into the closet along with my super side-sleeper pillow, which was a bust--killed my neck, ehich it was supposed to help.

The folding MedSlant pillow has worked well for me but the poly/cotton wedge pillow cover (specifically designed to fit this pillow) - not so. It went over the pillow well when first bought (after an initial washing) but after several washings it shrank so that it was impossible to get on fully. It also should be noted that the cover goes on only one way, and it would be helpful if it were marked so that one would know which end of the cover goes on the thin and which the thick end of the wedge pillow. But the cover NEEDS to be made larger to allow for shrinkage.

This pillow works great for what is was designed to do. If I am having a round of reflux and can't sleep, I use this pillow and the reflux goes away. Also, my wife uses one when she had a headache and it helps to relieve it.

It fits and works, I just wish it covered the entire backside of the pillow so I can flip the pillow over without having to take the case off and putting it on again -- the case only covers one side

I love this pillow. It reduced my acid reflux immensely and was so much better than the pile of pillows I was using that gave me kinks in my neck and shoulders. I do not find that I slide down that much and if I do I just boost myself up and go back to sleep. I put my regular pillow on top of it.
