Many thanks, wonderful to get a new copy of this recording. My kids used to listen to it so often they knew lots of it by heart and we wore out the original tapes.

as always cant fault richmal crompton, old fashioned it definitely is and as ever with stories written so long ago, some details jar, not always totally pc, but lovely to listen to, makes me happy and helps me sleep, and just to generally feel that life is not so bad after all!
