Well I have three pairs now and the coloured pants feel a bit more substantial than the plain black but all are nice and stretchy and fit well if that's any help x

I have seen this print on fashion garments in the UK from street markets to Fairtrade shops. You can also buy designs in this print on the Indian subcontinent in the bazaars and trade emporiums. I don’t feel that selling this design in the West is cultural appropriation because these trade links have mutually benefitted countries ever since they started hundreds of years ago. Also now a number of shops in the West, are the ones to make sure the crafters get a fair price for their work. Interestingly, this particular design seems more popular for people to wear in the West, Indians themselves choose to wear other designs. But back to the question: If selling this design were officially considered to be cultural appropriation, it would be a denial of history. I don’t think anyone wants that, or for clothes carrying this design not to be worn, as they are so beautiful. By the way, I would also like to point out to the seller that Paisley pattern is Indian not Iranian, originally brought to Britain from the early 18th century onwards, by the East India Company. Jane Austen would have worn Paisley pattern on her shawls and dresses. It was very popular during this era.
