Redken Volume Injection Shampoo & Conditioner Set For Fine Hair - Adds Lift & Body, Volumizing & Detangling Without Weighing Down, Paraben-Free

I have extremly thin gently wavy hair. This is the best shampoo & conditioner from the Redken line that I have used thus far. Product is milky and thick. A little hard to squeeze out the bottle especially when half way through. Storing upside down helps. Both shampoo & conditioner smell floral. A bit too potpourri flowers for my liking but smell doesn't linger in the hair, luckily. Both the shampoo & conditioner spreads and absorbes easily so not much is needed. Has smooth moderate lather. Leaves my hair feeling soft and my waves more defined and bouncy. What I like about Volume Injection is that it does not have protein. Usually hair products intended for thin hair tend to have proteins to strengthen hair structure, but I find proteins puff my thin hair in an unflattering lion's mane way. I want volume not puffines, so I appreciate that Volume Injection does not have protein.The main active ingredients in Redkens Volume Injection are filloxane and softening polymers, which preps the hair to create volume. However. It is important to note that this product doesn't give you automatic magical volume just because you washed your hair with it. Rather this shampoo & conditioner is meant to wash your hair while providing ingredients that allow your hair to achieve body aka volume more easily and with better results when you blow out your hair. This just preps your hair. The volume itself comes from your skill set, a good blow hair brush, and hair dryer. I rarely use a hair dryer. I prefer to air dry so I know not to expect magical salon smoothness and volume. What I get is healthy, clean, soft hair with full bouncy waves. After a couple months use, however, I have noted dandruff. I have never had dandruff before. Not sure if this is coincidence or byproduct of using Volume Injection. Will have to pay closer attention. In meantime, I will give it the benefit of the doubt.

I love this Redken Volume Injection set! The shampoo and conditioner leave my hair feeling full, soft, and bouncy without weighing it down. The volume boost is noticeable, and my hair looks healthy and shiny. Smells amazing too! Definitely worth trying if you want fuller, more vibrant hair.

I have thin, straight Asian hair. I’ve spent years dealing with buildup and greasy hair. I found this stuff after watching a hairdresser on YouTube (blowout professor) recommend it. My hair now has ZERO buildup and I can go at least 3-4 days between washes! I also notice some slight volumizing effects as my hair no longer seems plastered to my scalp. I do pair it with the conditioner. A little goes a long way and this formula has an excellent, foamy lather when applied. I didn’t find it too drying for my hair type. Because you don’t need a lot, the size of the bottle will last a long time. I’m about halfway through a bottle and have had it for about 6 months. Honestly I probably use too much though! My only complaint is the fragrance. It is SO strong for anyone who is super sensitive. I’ve gotten used to it but the first several washes gave me actual headaches.

Recommended by my hair stylist for quality product. Smells good. My hair seems to look healthier. It doesn't dry out my hair and my hair feels softer and easy to style. I wouldn't say easier to style but just easy to style. She likes this product because of something it doesn't have in it that was weighing down my hair and leaving a build-up. I trust her and like this product. I've bought several bottles of this since I started using it and will continue buying it.

Love this product HOWEVER it doesn't smell great. Has kind of a "granny" smell to it. Not horrible but not really my thing. Would buy again.

It really pains me to give this 3 stars, only because Redkin is a great product. It smells nice, cleans my hair and gives it the moisture it truly needs. I just CANNOT get over the price tag!!

This shampoo gives noticeable lift and body without feeling heavy. It lathers well, rinses clean, and leaves hair soft, shiny, and manageable. Overall, a great choice for adding volume and bounce.

My friend gave me some of hers to try. I liked how my hair felt after. I will not say its waaaaay better than store bought products, although I do like it. I plan on trying this product and give my honest review after awhile of use. I wasn't originally fond of the scent, since I'm scent sensitive. I found it extremely strong and gave me a headache. I'm now use to the smell after using it few weeks. Trying to train my hair to go through less washes. I can say I definitely can go a little longer, but only a couple of days before my oil starts to show. I believe that's my hair and scalp, not necessarily the product. Hair feels clean and fluffy afterwards. My ends still feel a little dry. So far recommend. Since buying this I have since bought two other redken products and do enjoy overall.

This shampoo is great if you like volume on your hair. It smells great and leaves your hair healthy.

My hair was lying so flat on the top of my head that even after using clarifying shampoos, it just was flat. I have used this product twice so far and the shampoo is great, suds up nicely and my hair is clean. It is lightweight as well, thus the volume. The conditioner, well it also is lightweight, rinses out much easier and better than other conditioners I have used in the past. So again, since it does rinse out so well, it does not weigh down my hair and I have noticed more volume. I do use a leave in conditioner after I get out of the shower as well. And others have noticed my hair has a bit more volume now.

Really like this shampoo I am older and have fine hair and it seems to work great. I’ll keep using it.
