Vivaplex, 2, Large, 16 oz, Empty, Cobalt Blue Glass Bottles with Black Lotion Pumps

Love the color. Using in my kitchen as hand soap and lotion dispensers.

Really pretty. No problems. Looks more purple to my eye, but still so pretty.

After reading other reviews I was hesitant, but I love cobalt glass so decided to give these a try. I'm sooo glad I did! Once they are primed they pump easily and don't drip. I have castor oil in one and lotion in the other. These are by far the best pump bottles I have and I've just reordered more for my daughter, at her request. In answer to other reviews; To pop the pump up/open ~ Hold the white pump base firmly (not the straw, the base just under the screw top) then turn the pump spigot until it pops up. Do this Before putting the pump on the bottle. Priming the pump ~ Fill your bottle, then screw the pump into place. At this point the straw is still filled with air. Keep pressing the pump repeatedly until the air is expelled and your product comes out of the pump. It took 10-20 pumps for castor oil which is quite thick. Just keep going until it comes out. The pump is measured, which is why it doesn't drip. It's not like most lotion pumps that just squirt the lotion out fast and you have to half pump to control the amount and speed (then they continue dripping) These pumps are great because the lotion Flows out gently and in just the right amount. No splattering. No Dripping. Anyways, I'd highly recommend them if you like the cobalt glass :) I'd love some in 8oz & 12oz too!

Pretty but not as strong as I was hoping- pump broke with first use so stole one from a different package- glass is pretty but not quite as thick as I was hoping- still using in the shower. Looks pretty!!

The bottles are beautiful and arrived in great shape. However, there are no instructions provided for releasing the pump, and twisting the nozzle--as you might with other dispensers--frustratingly spins around without engaging the spring. Here's what they should have told you: firmly grip the white ridged portion of the pump with one hand (or pliers) and turn the black nozzle counterclockwise until the spring is released.

Really pretty color. Nice glass bottles, and nice size. If I could design my perfect product, these would have metal fixtures instead of plastic, but these are very nice for the price and the pump on them is fairly elegant looking. Also, thanks to the reviewer who mentioned that you must pump this a lot the very first time you fill it because this took about 15 or 20 pumps and I would’ve thought that there was a problem if that reviewer hadn’t mentioned that. After the first time, though, Everything pumps easily.

Lovely bottles but the pumps nozzles don't open at all - tried everything and the heads don't even appear to be made separately to the neck, so have bought pumps separately as a result
