Gold colour base with white opaque shade and gold lead with black plug. It's a bit fiddly to get shade off to fit recommended bulb due to the internal strong 3 sprung hinges that hold it on. Definitely need strong fingers! Recommend warm light if using in bedroom as I believe cool light would be too bright. Cool lighting suits offices. 3 settings provide a good range of brightness.
