method follows the highest technical standard for defining biodegradability - the OECD standards - in which at least 70% of organic ingredients break down within 28 days. this means our products are suitable for greywater use on vegetation and for septic tanks, too.

Q: Does Method body wash contain propylene glycol?

no. our fragrance solvent is dipropylene glycol, which is a different ingredient.

Q: Does this leave a slimy residue or is it hard to wash off completely? I tried Jason body wash/shower gel and it did that, felt almost like oil.

No, I use it a lot and it's not slimy, it rinses off good
