**Q: can the battery be replaced**
A: No, it has a built-in rechargeable battery

**Q: Does it have an intelligent charging circuit, to prevent battery damage caused from overcharging?**
A: I would say yes. What I did was place a USB power meter in-line that shows the voltage, amp draw, and the amount of power that has passed through it. When all four LEDs stayed lit, indicating a full charge, the power meter did not show any amp draw.

**Q: Can it be charged from 220 V?**
A: No. You would need a converter to change from 220 to 110.  Not worth the hassle.

THESE LIGHTS ARE IMPRESSIVE! SOLAR POWERED AND WATERPROOF AND SO BRIGHT ITS LIKE TURNING ON THE SUN! the magnets are strong but I barely use them the hook is super handy. works great and super good value for the price! battery lasts a good amount and they arent heavy! different light modes so it not annoyingly harsh if you dont like the pure white light there is a yellow/ amber color light that does great!
