The best unauthorized boots available
Aside from Solomon speedcross 5’s they are hands down the absolute best field authorized footwear. They are durable, light weight, fairly quick to dry, and just all around amazing. I have worn mine for every army field event since I enlisted back in 2018 and I am still using them and have had no hot spots in my feet.

Amazing
Once you find the size that fits, its an excellent footwear. Amazing! Works equally great for tactical purposes, hiking and for every day wearing.

Excellent boots.
I love these boots. I am on to my 2nd pair of these boots and have already bought a 3rd pair for backup when pair #2 fails... These boots are very well made. They are lightweight and very comfortable out of the box, with minimal break in time required. Superb ankle support. Fit is true to size. Reason for 4 stars, not 5 - like very other pair of gore-Tex lined boots I have owned (and there have been many over the years) the gore-Tex sock fails after about 2 years of use (my boots get a lot of use). They invariably start to leak where the boot flexes as you walk. However, there is still plenty of life in the boots after this happens, so I will continue to wear my first pair when and where being waterproof isn't an issue. Update and the reason for the change from 4 stars to 1 star: the last two pairs of these boots leaked straight out of the box and were returned; not what one expects from a quality brand like LOWA. This is just unacceptable and I won't be buying them again.

My favorite boots
These are my favorite pair of boots. I work in corrections and stomp stairs for 12 hours a day. These are comfortable, breathable, and durable. They are easy to clean and they grip decently on smooth concrete although they are not completely slip resistant. Highly recommended for first responders and law enforcement as well as anyone else who spends long hours on their feet and need a durable boot to last.

All day comfort!
Bought these because I was looking for a good hunting boot. Did a lot of reading on different brands and just took a chance on these as a compromise to the Crispi boots I was originally wanting. I live in Louisiana and put a lot of miles on the the cadilegs during night turkey season but also wanted a comfortable boot to saddle hunt in. I’ve used these for spring 2025 turkey season so far here in Louisiana and south Texas and I am loving them. I was concerned about their size at first because they felt tight (I ordered true to size fitting) but have decided I love the secure fit. Time will tell if they hold up but so far I am loving them

Durable comfort
Ended up borrowing a buddy's paid of these for a ruck, fell in love and had to have them. Some of the most comfortable durable boots I've had. Love the Rocky S2V but these Lowas are much more comfortable. I know a lot of guys like some Nike or other light weight boots for comfort, but they always fall apart way too fast. The Lowa Zypher is the best of both. The only thing I've found these are not good for, is winter. These boots have terrible traction when temps drop into -20s or below.

Overall great boot!
So far I have had these boots for over 4 months and I absolutely love them. I originally bought these for hunting with the sole purpose of hunting the rugged mountainous country of no man's land Idaho. I liked them right out of the box and they have plenty of flexibility with the over all design of the boot. I have used them in a wide range of temperatures as high as 90 degrees all the way down in the single digits and they have kept my feet dry & warm. I am rough on boots have never had a pair last me over 2 years so I will have to wait and see on the longevity of these boots. If these fail on me I will be purchasing some Crispi Idaho GTX boots next .
