Maxpedition Gear 1.5-Inch Shoulder Pad

Fits my shoulder strap perfectly. Doesn't slip. Thick. Solid feel. Well made. I still use my Max Sitka from 2013. Maxpedition makes great products.

I use this strap shoulder pad on my dark brown soft leather briefcase and it works quite well. The stitching and overall build quality are characteristically-Maxpedition: overbuilt and meticulous. The three attachment points are nice and wide velcro, ensuring it remains securely attached to my bag's shoulder strap. In terms of comfort, it's far superior to the shrimpy strip of leather and plastic that my bag came with. The breathable foam backing is a nice touch, but the so-called "non-slip inserts" are pretty useless. I wish Maxpedition would replace these with soft rubber dots/nubs.

For $11 it's great. Fits 1.5" straps perfectly. Middle strap is 1.5" thick, 2 outer ones are 1" thick. Overall length is exactly 12" This was used for my makeshift sling with: WYNEX Tactical Increment Molle Pouch, Vertical EDC Utility Pouches Sling Bag Military Multi-Purpose Large Capacity with Shoulder Strap Waterproof Attachment Modular Design (Black (Upgraded)) and Men's Tactical Stretch Belt Military CCW Riggers Belt Quick Release Duty Buckle The belt was biting into my neck since this is worn rather tight. I keep about 10lbs of stuff. For this use, the pad works perfectly. If you intend on carrying more than that, i would probably go for a more heavy duty pad.

My messenger bag did not come with a pad for the strap. It was 1.5" in width and cut into the shoulder. I like Maxpedition quality and decided to give this a try (about the same price of others). It fid my strap perfectly, can slide to the perfect position and gives the extra comfort I was looking for. My only wish would have been for it to come in dark brown to match my strap.

One of the three Velcro retention straps had the loop side on both strap ends, without a hook side the Velcro doesn’t work! I hope I have better luck with the replacement!

It's a decent pad for a strap but it does slide around a bit.

I got these because the curved version (SDP) wasn't available. Like other straight pads, they cut into my neck slightly, but they do distribute the weight better than others I've tried, and the padding stays where you put it yet still allows the strap to slide through so you can re-position your bag (or whatever.) I'm using this on Travelon bags that have a rather narrow strap, as well as a paracord strap, and have not had any issues with twisting. The hook and loop attachment allows you to swap them out, or reverse it for left side carry, without having to remove the strap from the bag. Recommend.

I recently brought a man shoulder bag which was great but the strap is nylon and I end up with a sweat mark on my shoulder and back so I looked around and found this pad ordered it and it's great fits the strap perfectly and is comfortable

Zu meinem bei Maxpedition erworbenen " Shoulder Strap " benötigte ich noch eine rutschhemmende Schulterauflage -- den Shoulder Pat . Davon bin ich aber sehr entäuscht . Diese Auflage erfüllt bei mir nicht ihre Funktion - wie von mir erwartet . Die beiden kleinen Streifen -- die rutschhemmenden wirken sollen - erfüllen ihre gedachte Funktion nur s c h l e c h t . Da hätten nach meiner Meinung noch 2 weitere Streifen angebracht sein müssen . Mein Problem -- Schulterauflagen gibt es nur in der Breite von 5 cm aufwärts zu erwerben . Eine für mich nutzbare schmale Auflage -- in 3,8 cm Breite - wie das Shoulder Pat - ist da eher ein Einzelfall . Na gut , ich muß nun mit meinem Problem leben - was hilft da weiteres klagen .

Great quality product. I used this to replace a worn out shoulder pad on my 5.11 MOAB6 pack. Delivery took a couple of weeks. Watch for a good price. I got mine for around $13. I see it's at $24 right now.
