Is a must read for any junior or mid developer. It unfolds every new feature in a very structured way. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Should be Required Reading *by A***D on December 27, 2022* Hands down this is IMO the best entry-level book on Spring and Spring Boot. I’m a senior level software engineer who uses Spring daily and wish I had this book when I first started out. I think this book should be required reading for any new engineers onboarding to a team that uses Spring and Spring Boot in their eco system. For example a lot of new Spring engineers don’t fully grasp dependency injection or understand the multiple ways you can register beans to the Spring context, or why and when you should use one over the other. Likewise, (and perhaps surprisingly) many new engineers don’t fully understand the correct usage of HTTP methods in REST and how to correctly build service endpoints. This book explains that and so much more, completely demystifying the entire Spring approach while also teaching RESTful best practices. The author is masterful in his writing and delivery. He is clear and concise in his instruction. His examples are relevant and on point. He does not ramble on or get side tracked in theory or minutia. He just delivers the right amount of info in a most clear and engaging way. I’ve read a lot of books and watched a lot of videos on the subject, and this is absolutely the best educational tool on Spring/Spring Boot I have come across. Kudos to the author.
