I now understand why. Beside being very well made and nice you really have to be creative to install it in a different manner since it is meant to be installed with a magnet plate which is really to weak to support the weight of the bar.As soon as a little vibration will happened, like if you touch it to change light configuration this thing is going to be moving around like crazy. The instructions supplied are not very clear, only in english, need a magnifying glass to be able to read. The supplied tape is useless. You are going to glue the bracket on top of the monitor if you want stability and rigidity. That's why I took 1 star off. The concept is good but the bracket engineering is elementary school ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Solid light bar, but be prepared to tweak the mount. *by J***N on Reviewed in the United States on 28 March 2024* I really like this device. I use this on my large gaming monitor. I point the white light at the ceiling for ambient light that won't cause reflections on the screen and the RGB at the wall behind it.
