After gaining much success as a vocal mic, Avantone decided it's time to expand its coverage in the studio and on stage! Avantone is excited to announce that they have teamed up with Black Lion Audio to offer exactly that! Please welcome the CV-12BLA! With a flatter response and more headroom than before, the CV-12BLA takes what you love about the CV-12 even further! Throw it on drums or piano, close mic a guitar, or throw it on vocals for a finish so polished it'll put more expensive mics to shame!About the CV-12BLABlack Lion Audio has spent over a decade perfecting the art of modding gear. Employing this expertise, Avantone has partnered with them to develop the CV-12BLA. First and foremost, the circuit has been modified to have a flatter response. The high-mid bump that the CV12 is known for was tamed and a different capsule was used to further smooth the highs and bring out the lows resulting in more balance. This flatter response, coupled with higher headroom allows the microphone to be more of a utilitarian microphone that sounds great on just about everything. Avantone particularly found that full range sources are where the CV-12BLA really shined as the frequency range is balanced across the board. The coupling capacitor is an industry favorite Solen FastCap, which was chosen for its transparency. The 32 mm K67 capsule was replaced with a 34 mm CK12 styled capsule which was chosen to compliment the circuit. Leaving no stone unturned, the CV-12BLA features a completely redesigned power supply, featuring a low-noise circuit.Features:Uses Include: Studio vocals, acoustic guitar, mandolin, drum overheads, room mic, pianoA capsule was used to further smooth the highs and bring out the lows for more balance32 mm K67 capsule replaced with a 34 mm CK12 styled capsuleThe frequency range is more balanced across the boardThe coupling cap ## Features - Uses Include: Studio vocals, acoustic guitar, mandolin, drum overheads, room mic, piano - A capsule was used to further smooth the highs and bring out the lows for more balance - 32 mm K67 capsule replaced with a 34 mm CK12 styled capsule - Modified circuit results in a flatter response - Includes deluxe faux alligator case, jetsun shockmount, elegant padded genuine wooden mic box, low-noise circuit power supply, and owner's manual ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B00K3NDYZW | | Antenna Location | Voice Recording, Video Recording | | Audible Noise | 20 Decibels | | Brand | Avantone | | Built-In Media | Microphone | | Color | Black | | Compatible Devices | Personal Computer | | Connectivity Technology | Auxiliary | | Connector Type | 35 month jack | | Customer Reviews | 2.8 2.8 out of 5 stars (5) | | Enclosure Material | Stone | | Frequency Range | 000Hz, 20Hz 20 | | Impedance | 200 Ohms | | Item Dimensions | 57.8 x 42.2 x 21.5 centimeters | | Item Weight | 12 Pounds | | Manufacturer | Avantone Pro | | Mfr Part Number | CV12BLA | | Microphone Form Factor | Large Diaphragm | | Model Name | CV-12-BLA | | Model Number | CV12BLA | | Number of Channels | 1 | | Number of Items | 5 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Polar Pattern | Bidirectional, Omnidirectional, Unidirectional | | Power Source | Corded Electric | | Signal-to-Noise Ratio | 70 dB | | Special Feature | Stand | | UPC | 713541493223 | | Unit Count | 1.0 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Avantone - **Connectivity technology:** Auxiliary - **Connector type:** 35 month jack - **Model name:** CV-12-BLA - **Recommended uses for product:** Voice Recording, Video Recording ## Images ![Avantone Pro CV-12-BLA Tube Condenser Microphone - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71wo3NMY81L.jpg) --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kr/products/386942296-avantone-pro-cv-12-bla-tube-condenser-microphone](https://www.desertcart.kr/products/386942296-avantone-pro-cv-12-bla-tube-condenser-microphone) --- *Product available on Desertcart South Korea* *Store origin: KR* *Last updated: 2026-10-11*
