**Q: How can I stop the ticking noise?**
A: I don't know.  I learned to accept it.  I bought the timer for my kids.  I decided the ticking noise is good for them to be aware that time is passing.

**Q: Does this ring? Or can it be used silently?**
A: No sorry. It ticks and rings quite loudly. I needed that for my space however there is no quiet setting.

**Q: My students messed with this timer, which i had on the wall, when i wasn't looking. now the whole circle stays blue. :-( is there any way to fix it?**
A: Sitting here with a cracked cover and a torn blue disk and no way to fix. Sad to say what I thought would be a simple screw to open, fix, and return to working is now a heap of trash.

**Q: Is there a way to make the alarm longer?**
A: Sorry, the duration of the alarm is not adjustable, usually it will sound for 3 seconds
