Out of the box, one of the side brackets is broken. The writing surface is not a real chalkboard and real chalk doesn't write well on it. I need to keep it for in front of my shop because my old one broke (after decades of use), but it's going in the trash as soon as I can find another one of better quality.

Would have been great, ordered for my father’s funeral. Received in cheap cardboard that was taped together, was visibly used (could actually see green writing when cleaned), and brackets were broken (unglued on inside), not to mention wood & board scratched.

I disliked the item. Haven't used it in 4 weeks because it broke. The hinges are weak and quickly broke in the first 2 weeks.
