Yes the cross is removable. That way you can hang it on the wall if you prefer.

No. Just a soft lamb with her hands folded like she is praying.

Is the lamb washable?

I would remove the cross and then wash on gentle cycle if needed, or spot clean with warm sudsy water. Sometimes when you wash these they aren't as soft as before washing.
