I just purchased a 3rd gen Apple TV (2021) and it has the new silver remote which I love but was afraid it would get sticky and scratched from all the use it’s getting right away. Decided to get this remote case because I liked the way it looked and once I got it, I knew I made the right choice.For only $8 it’s hard to pass up. Works perfectly with all buttons, even not line of sight. I especially love that the power button and Siri buttons are covered by the silicone but do not affect usability at all!The grip on the bottom is great for sitting down on smooth surfaces. It won’t slip off accidentally anymore and it’s just a nicer feel in your hand to have that grip.I feel more accurate with the buttons.Only real gripe I could mention would be the lanyard was a bit of a pain to install. I ended up putting a small zip tie through and slipped the lanyard onto it before closing the zip tie. Then it was just rotate the zip tie through both holes till the lanyard was pulled through. Snip the zip tie off and remove it while holding the lanyard. Lastly loop the lanyard on itself to finish its install.There were no instructions for tips on how to install the lanyard but again for $8 I’m not going to dock them any points. It’s just an extra feature. I have a kid who sometimes plays games with the remote so I wanted the lanyard specifically.Anyways, definitely would buy again no doubt! Pick your color and buy it, you will be very happy with it!

Feels and wraps itself around the controller perfectly. Only thing is if you want a smooth experience with the directional buttons you will have this little bump feeling. Best way I can describe that feeling is like having a case on your iPhone and trying to press the camera flat and you get that bump feeling.

So many choices but I'm really glad I got this one! Fit is perfect. My incentive was just to keep the remote from getting scratched but the sleeve makes it more comfortable to hold...and less likely to be dropped. The lanyard is handy; I hang it on a hook where it doesn't get lost. I used a small crochet hook to pull the string through the little holes and had no trouble at all. It would be seriously tricky using just fingers. These days there aren't too many bargains to be had but this one really is...just get it! :=)

my apple tv remote power up button fell out ! there no way to super glue grrr & $60 for new but this remote case cover the power button .so my apple tv is back to work perfectly
