Although it is made of a resin material, one would not know unless picking it up. I was very pleased with the workmanship of this item, and it is an amazing focal point on the little table in my office. I have a lot of military memorabilia in my office, and I truly love this one because every time I glance at it, I am reminded of the sacrifices made by the brave men and women who have worn the uniform.

Great addition to my Grandfathers WWII memorial. He was a Silver Star recipient. He was also a medic and this statue represented exactly what he did.
