Making Luna Lapin: Sew and dress Luna, a quiet and kind rabbit with impeccable taste

Very easy to follow instructions and even if you are stuck there are a lot of videos on YouTube showing you how to assemble Luna. Made it my first one in a couple of days and will make many more :-)

I found out about Luna Lapin from a lady I was following along making a Memory Bear with on YouTube and she mentioned Luna and that she'd also done a "follow along" sewing tutorial on how to sew her. I took a quick look and immediately fell in love! I saw that her tutorial was a few years old but decided to buy this book anyway and I wasn't disappointed. Everything about it is just so beautiful. The story, the illustrations and of course there is a pattern for absolutely everything, even her little chair! After Lovely Luna Lapin, I feel I will be obsessed and will have to make the whole gang!! I'm really happy I've found this little treasure and I will definitely come back and update my review after I've had a go at sewing her! But I don't have any hesitation recommending this book now at all.

I’ve seen many of these Bunnies made, such cute little stuffies. I’ve ordered some of the other books so I bought the first book of the series. The book came complete (I’ve read other reviews that mentioned no patterns or pages missing) After reading the instructions I believe anyone could sew up the items in the book regardless if you’re new to sewing or a seasoned sewist.

This book is awesome. If you buy it, i would recommend watching youtube videos to do the sewing. Some of the things she has you do in making the rabbit are kinda strange. There is a lady from England that has a whole series of videos on this whole book and several other books from this same author. The rabbit turned out so stinking cute!

This is an adorable book and I really enjoyed making a couple of these for my niece. The directions are easy to follow and the pattern does not have to be enlarged. What a great book. The only complaint I had was that the costumes left a lot to be desired. If one can drape, or is an experienced seamstress, the outfits won’t matter.

I have not used this book yet but plan to soon. Such sweet little stories and pretty little clothes.

I can see why LUNA LAPIN is so popular. Everything about her story, and how to make her and her large wardrobe, is lovely. I can envision a parent making this set for a child and having a lot of fun with it. This book has been a great escape during this uncertain time in history. Now, here's the thing, I can't see myself making the projects in this book, as there are so many things I would personally change. It's super inspirational though. I'm just one of those "fly by the seat of my pants crafters", who look at pictures and then go do my own things. But it's definitely a keeper, as it sparks ideas.

I heard about the Luna Lapin rabbit doll on the internet and came to Amazon to buy the book. It has really cute little stories, but best of all are the patterns to make the rabbit and her clothes. There are even patterns and instructions to make her boots and shoes! I've made two Lunas so far, and I'm eager to start another one.

Ich liebe es. Das nächste lange Wochenende bei schlechtem Wetter kann kommen. Luna hat eine überschaubare Anzahl an Teilen und die Kleider sind einfach zauberhaft. Das Buch ist in englischer Sprache und hat neben den Anleitungen für das Hasenmädchen und ihren kleinen Bruder, noch zahlreiche Kleidungsstücke, einen Sessel und einen Koffer. Am Anfang des Buches laden einige kurzen Geschichten zum Lesen ein. Danach kommt eine kurze Übersicht über die verwendeten Materialien und Nähtechniken. Die Anleitungen sind gut formuliert und verständlich (halt in englisch). Falls dann doch mal Vokabel fehlen gibts Wörterbücher oder Apps. Mit eingefügten Bildern werden die einzelnen Arbeitsschritte noch einmal verdeutlicht. Am Ende des Buches kommen dann, ähnlich anderer Nähbücher, die Schnittmuster in Orginalgröße. Diese müssten dann allerdings entweder kopiert oder angepasst werden. Das tut dem ganzen aber keinen Abbruch, so gehen die Schnitte wenigstens nicht verloren. Mit ein bißchen Nähgrundkenntnissen ist das durchaus zu bewältigen, zur Not auch per Hand.

tout ce qu'il faut pour pouvoir gâter un enfant. de la "peluche" à ses vêtements c'est vraiment un joli monde enchanté, où l'imaginaire enfantin peux s'en donner à cœur joie. Livre bien expliqué ( en anglais) mais facile de s'y retrouver même pour ceux qui comme moi n'ont que des notions. Vraiment un très beau livre
