TBH I don’t remember because I bought much bigger mats anyway. You’ll need a bigger one too.

Q: Is the cutting mat double sided and can it be used with utility knife or just the rotary cutter?

The mat is single-sided "scratch resistant" that said, you can use a utility knife just not super aggressively.
