Craftsman still has decent tools, though, it depends on which ones. These cross-cut blades didn't disappoint running through hard maple 10/4 boards with a heavy duty DeWalt circular saw. Works almost like a chop saw (not exactly) but sufficient enough to get through several jobs - straight & accurate cuts. Gotta love carbide. One of the 3-pack blades had a chipped carbide tooth because it came "packaged" in a flimsy plastic envelope without any protection. So, I called customer support & got an immediate response + a replacement blade. It took over 1.5 months to arrive from a facility that's 30 minutes away. The Craftsman guarantee works but you might have to wait a while to get the wheels moving.
