Way too small of an opening.
The measurements given are not the same as the elastic opening. There's no way to get it over the body of the filter housing given the size of the opening. The actual bonnet size would likely fit, but no way can you get it over the housing without tearing the elastic collar. Tried to return it but the return shipping is half what the bonnet costs so I'll take the hit and eat it. Just beware of this if you're considering buying this rain bonnet.

This item is not waterproof - complete rip-off
The item description is misleading to say the least. I held my hand under see a sink faucet and splashed water onto the “waterproof” cover similar to a rainstorm and it failed miserably. My hand inside the cover was soaked! Do not buy this ripoff item, you are better off getting a shower cap from a pharmacy store!

On the large size
cover is a little on the large size for the KN air filter but will work if caught in a rain storm. Reasonable price.
