Product was not flexible at all. No instructions were provided to assist in getting the latches to fit properly on the lid. Both latches broke when I tried to very gently attach them. Very poor quality. Need to be more flexible to slip latches in place.

My 40L flat back household general waste bin has a soft close lid. This bin is good quality bur after 16 years the lid would no longer stay closed. The like for like replacement bin costs £120 so I explored Amazon for a fix and found this product and at £7.25 I ordered it. They sent two replacement parts stating one of these two will be suitable and it has worked very well. What more could you hope for?

Does the job

Did the job perefectly. Take my hat off to the chap that spent time money and ingenuity to design this item. You are a scholar and an engineer and hope you make some fame/money for your efforts. I sawed the broken part off with a juniour hacksaw then glued the new part with araldite. Genius.
