I was actually kind of afraid to buy these at first. Due to the price being so low, I thought that maybe the licorice wouldn't be fresh or taste as good as it does in the bags. Thankfully, I was wrong in that assumption! They are just as fresh. If I had to complain about anything (which really, I have no complaints), it would be that the mango flavor was a teeny tiny bit firmer than the others. And it's really not that noticeable, it's just mango is my favorite flavor, but I think having the strawberry and green apple flavors softer helped because I liked these much more than I usually would when I buy the individual packs. These are going to be a problem for me because I'm thinking of signing up for a monthly delivery of these! Pray for my waistline.

I enjoy this licorice, I generally buy it in a smaller bag. I was excited to see that it's available in a 3lb plastic jar. I was greatly disappointed in the expiration date. The licorice expires in two months and is not returnable or replaceable. I hope the licorice is not stale.

Not only was the package seal broken when I opened it. They taste nothing like the non-twist, smooth ones. If you like the smooth ones. DO NOT buy these. They taste nothing alike. They have a plastic taste. In addition they all taste so similar. It might as well be a one flavor pack.
