This has been a really helpful tool. At first I was disappointed I couldn’t get lug nuts off my F-150 but it turns out my pressure was far too low at the tool. Once that was fixed, it takes them off very easily and that’s with 3/8”-1/2” adapters. I took off a wheel in about 30 seconds. For comparison, my Milwaukee Fuel 1/2” stubby impact 12 volt can’t take those lug nuts off and that’s without any adapters.Very small and can fit in tight places. Has helped with a brake job, new wheel bearings, and some suspension replacement for an F150. A lot easier to move around than its big brother 2235 and is the first one I grab generally.Very pleased with the boot cover as well. A little thicker than I thought it would be but protects well

I needed a powerful yet very compact impact for a difficult job (replacing spark plugs on an F150 Triton engine with very tight quarters on the rear cylinders.) YouTube tips suggested using a 3/8 impact. I already owned a 1/2" drive IR impact and love it. This new one was a little spendy (although a super price here on Amazon), so I was leaning toward going the cheap route and getting something from Sears. I'm sure glad I didn't! This thing is the smallest I've found, very light with the Titanium case, and has great power. All of the other reviewers are correct. This is a fantastic tool, and I never have buyers remorse when it's a quality item like this that I will undoubtedly get many years of use out of. My dad always told me to take care of my tools, and my tools will take care of me. This little impact with big impact performance is sure to do just that. Well worth the money even if you don't know what your next job for it might be. Oh, and the ergonomics and conrols on it are great!

Light weight and very powerful for its size ....great purchase

This tool has been incredibly helpful, especially for removing lug nuts on my F-150. Initially, I was disappointed when I couldn't get the lug nuts off, only to realize that the issue was with the tool's pressure being too low. After adjusting it, the tool effortlessly removes lug nuts even with 3/8”-1/2” adapters, allowing me to take off a wheel in just about 30 seconds. In comparison, my Milwaukee Fuel 1/2” stubby impact 12-volt struggled with the same lug nuts, even without adapters.Its compact size makes it perfect for tight spaces and has been a great asset for tasks like brake jobs, wheel bearings, and suspension replacements on my F-150. I find it much easier to maneuver than its larger counterpart, the 2235, making it my go-to choice. Additionally, I am very pleased with the protective boot cover, which is thicker than expected and provides excellent protection.

Very powerful little gun when combined with the right compressor. I run a 80gallon tank at 175psi and 15cfm at 90psi. This thing breaks bolts lightning fast. It's light weight and ergonomic design make it a pleasure to work with all day. Although it may be small, what it lacks in size it makes up for in torque. I also have a HF 1/2 impact and it is on par with that. I recommend this gun especially for those doing suspension and brake work. As it is small enough and powerful enough to get the job done efficiently (Assuming you are skilled at what you are doing). I would also recommend complimenting this tool with IR 86 piece 3/8 1/2 impact set. They go hand in hand and were made for each other. At this price, you cant go wrong. For the amount and quality you get for your buck, you'd be wasting your time and money with another gun.

I have the previous version of this gun and think its a work horse...this gun will get the same daily use so I not concerned with its reliability.First change I noticed on this gun is the grip is bigger ( not too much though ).It feels very comfortable and if you have large hands you will appreciate it.The only way I can describe it is...there is no "empty" spots.Your hand and fingers seem to touch every part of the gun.It might be a touch louder than previous but I dont care and the directional buttons are a big improvement.Since I got screwed by a "tool truck" impact....( lasted less than a year ) I swore I will never buy another of the high priced, latest and great set impacts.I made the switch to IR eleven years ago and have never been happier.I like the style,ergonomics, and price.They know exactly.... how to build the perfect impact.

Bought this to compliment my IR2135Ti impact.I can't get over how much quieter this is compared to the 1/2" version!Typical Ingersoll Rand quality. This is a great size. I can actually see myself using this more than the 1/2" version for more everyday car stuff. Not too heavy and has quite a punch for power.

i bought this for my job at land rover jaguar of peoria, it was the best impact i could find, and by far the best price, way better than the other comparably priced 3/8ths impacts. i've been hammering the crap out of it since i got it a couple months ago, i use it for everything from removing engine mounts and strut bolts, to removing the t50 torx on the land rover seats to little interior screws and everything inbetween. i have been punishing this thing alot, its been dropped multiple times off a fully lifted 2 post host and it still looks great and runs even better, i've repacked the hammers once since i got it and i put marvel air tool oil thru it about 3 times a day and its working like a charm. easily disassembled to put grease on the hammers, and very easy to control speed, even on highest setting you can put plastic screws into a plastic threaded trim piece and control it and tighten it without thinking about stripping it out. very awesome impact, made a couple guys at work jealous. people i ordered it from got it here in good time and in great shape. overall a great experience.
