Fantastic price and quality it's a really good size. Great reviews and great information on how to care for the item along with recipes. Great that the top and bottom can be used separately and together, on barbecue, open fire and on the stove. Just Fantastic really impressed. Cook a beef roast in it, it was fantastic really noticed the taste and quality and cooked it faster. Beautiful.

Excellent Quality
Great Value Best Pots I've Ever Owned, They Heat Up Very Quickly and Retain The Heat, Keeping Your Food Hot For Ages If Your Not Quite Ready To Serve It. There Very Sturdy Handle Does Get Very Hot, So You Do Need To Use Either Silicone Covers Or Oven Gloves, Extremely Versatile As You Can Use As A Pot, A Skillet or As A Casserole in The Oven. They Are Very Heavy Compared to Other Cookware, They Won't Rust If Treated With Care, Making Sure They Are Fully Dried After Washing. The Size Is Perfect For A Large Casserole. Food Tastes Sooo Good, Very Sturdy Pots, They Are Also Suitable For Induction Hobs, but Do Be Careful That You Lift Them And Don't Slide Them Over The Hob as You May Scratch The Surface

Perfect for camping, not for hiking.
Lovely to cook with. Cooked a lovely casserole while camping. You can just leave the pot on the edge of the embers and not worry about the food drying out. Obviously it's heavy but it wouldn't work the way it does if it were light. Very good value for money.

Very good value for money
Just the right weight, if it’s anything like the frying pans it’s going to last forever, cooks in a way your standard casserole dish can’t, heat cooks from all sides making meat so tender. Lid is also usable for cooking which adds to its practicality. Very easy to clean and maintain.

Perfect for Sourdough
I purchased this Overmont 26cm Dutch oven just to make sourdough bread and in comparison to other named brands of the same design, it’s an absolute bargain. Perfect for boule or batard Artisan style loaves and a 21cm bread sling fits in the bottom section perfectly. The internal dimension at the base of the bottom section is 21cm and in the top section, 22cm. The overall outer dimension is 26cm, but inside at the bottom it is smaller, so bear this in mind. Arrived very well packed and double boxed, although the two handles had started to push through the inner box during transit, but they were undamaged. Just a quick note addressing so many reviews I see about cast iron pans rusting. Yes, cast iron does rust if you mistreat it and this pan will rust if you don’t look after it . Every poor review I see is down to user error . . . you cannot treat raw cast iron the same way as a normal pan or an enamelled cast iron pan. If you leave them to air dry, put them in a dishwasher or leave wet food in them, they are likely to rust. I've been using cast iron for decades now and every pan I have is either the same or in better condition than when I first bought them, I have never had a trace of rust … ever. I always reheat them after washing, either by placing back in a warm oven to dry or by heating on top of the hob, so they are completely dry. I wipe a very thin film of oil over them during this process to maintain the seasoning. Once you develop this habit, it becomes second nature. Never put them in the fridge to store wet stews, leave standing water in them or air dry them. It’s basic science, they need to be bone dry before storing and a very thin wipe of oil (I use ordinary vegetable oil) keeps them like new indefinitely. All my cast iron is going to out live me!

Stove top use with ‘stoopid’ narrative 😆
Fantastic! Genuinely one of the best value, robust, versatile and efficient thing I’ve bought on Amazon! Great for morning fry ups, grilling sausages and prawns and for amazing chilli’s- prep on stove top while over is warming- transfer pot and lid to the oven for an hour on 160c - best chilli’s / stews/ one pot wonders/ cassoulet/ casseroles ever! Indestructible and loves nothing more than a hot water scrub, wipe down and place briefly back on hob to dry… I use mine every day now so don’t bother oiling every day - but if not- a quick wipe around with some olive oil and rinse before using again and you’re good to go! 5 Genuine Stars ***** Tip- the handles DO get really hot, so worth buying some slip on silicone handles - easy to forget AFTER getting out of the oven! These pots are also heavy iron- why they work so well with induction hobs- so be careful !

Course texture
I'm not a fan of this brand of cast iron. The texture inside the pot and lid is course, so when I tried to wipe those areas dry with kitchen tissue, bits were getting stuck. The lid rusted as I was cooking a curry, and I didn't realise until afterwards. I think the lid of the pot will need to be seasoned in the oven a lot more before it can be used without rusting. Cast iron cookware can and will rust, but I have experience using Lodge cast iron that does not rust while I first used it and I didn't have to season Lodge cookware in the oven before first used, so I have less patience for this brand. I also prefer smoother texture, its a personal preference but I think the texture has an impact on how quickly it rusts.

Neither pan is actually flat on the bottom - they both have irregular convex areas. Since I have a flat ceramic hob, the pans don't work as well as they should and aren't as efficient as they should be. At least they were cheap, but I'll likely send them in for recycling brcause they annoy me with their imprecision.
