Good for redness relief

Depends what the redness is from... wind burn or dryness... yeah this would help. If it's some chronic condition, you'll want something with tea tree or willow bark would be my guess.

Can this lotion be used on the face?

I don't use this lotion on my face. If you have dry skin on your face it may work for you, because it's non- greasy lotion absorbs quickly and it doesn't clog pores.
