HIBLOW HP-120LL Pond Aerator/Septic Linear Air Pump

The media could not be loaded. I bought the HiBlow 120LL to aerate my 3/4 acre pond. It's suspended from a crab pot float at 10 feet deep. The pond is 15+ feet deep but after experimenting by going deeper in one foot increments each time 10 ft was the sweet spot. Aftr 11 ft the HiBlow 120 labored more and more with each foot. Very little would come out from the Rootscape large pond aerator its attached to after about 12 feet and the pump labored. This design, diaphragm pump, can't compete with the water pressure below around 10 feet, 0.445 PSI per ft of depth. The pump is 150' feet from the diffuser using 3/8 ID weighted aeration line. Im very pleased with the volume of air and associated water being moved to the surface. Im now just waiting for the aeration and beneficial bacteria I've added to hopefully clear things up. The pump is very quite, haven't covered it yet, as this is day one. You can barely hear it from about 10 - 15 feet away, just a very soft hum. Hope this information helps someone else looking to do something similar.

This pump is amazing. Bought the 120 model to replace one of the cheaper vevor pumps that lasted about 2 weeks and I was amazed. Pumps more air and not 1/4 of the noise. I have it on a 1 acre pond with 2 root scape diffusers and works amazing. 5 stars all day.

We put this in our garage, connected it to 200 feet of hose with a diffuser at the end, and it's been aerating our pond for about eight months now. It has made a huge difference. The pump makes about as much noise as a brand new microwave, so we can't even hear it unless we're in our garage. We leave it on all the time and it has shown no signs of wear. It doesn't get hot. It doesn't rattle. It puts out a good amount of air for our ~1 acre pond. Very happy with the purchase so far.

Great pump for the money. good air pressure for the wattage. I've been running for a few years now with no issues what so ever just change the filter so i'm pleased with the durability as well.

Arrived quickly; is beneficial to our pond and fish, keeping the water turning.

Got this air pump as part of an aireation project in an attempt to clear the water...... That being said - i used two of the bubblers and 150 feet of weigted hose - my two aireators are in 10 ft and 6 ft - obviously the one at 6 ft produces stronger bubblespump isvery quiet - a faint hummm can be heard - but you have to listen for itUPDATE 2-22-24We had HEAVY rain - causing my pond to overflow - and due to the location of the pump - it became submerged……. After a week of drying out - I disassembled the housing and completely dried the filters. I also used electrical contact cleaner - blew air through it - plugged it in and BAM !! She fired right up and is now providing aeration to my pond - DARN good pump !!!
