It can be a little tricky to put on by yourself, but it’s absolutely worth it once it’s on. It stays cold for about 30 minutes, which is just enough to get great relief, though it does take a bit to fully freeze again. Overall, the relief it provides is amazing. Definitely recommend for anyone dealing with shoulder pain or stiffness!

**Q: Can this stay on all night if I put it on when going to bed?  I have a torn rotator cuff and lots of joint damage in my shoulder.  Lots of discomfort**
A: I don’t think you would want to wear it all night. The Ice pack stays cold for less than an hour in summer temps.  I have used it for relief after torn rotator cuff surgery.  It is the best ice pack I have had for the shoulder.  It allows me to strap it in place and move about the house.

**Q: Can it be used on either shoulder?**
A: Yes, the straps are removable to allow you to change this to either a right or a left shoulder, and the allow you to choose to use the soft velour-like side or the vinyl (colder) side.

**Q: Hi, this ice pack requires refreeze time of 4 hours for each use?**
A: I don’t usually have it in for the full 4 hours before I ice again. I will keep on my shoulder for 20 minutes and it seems sufficiently cold to help. I’m recovering from shoulder surgery and did get two packs. Rotate usually 40 minutes in the freezer 20 minutes on my shoulder. So each is getting about 2 hours in before it’s used again.

**Q: Suitable for a 5’9” 175 lb male?**
A: Absolutely. I'm 5'2 and 200 lbs, my husband is 6'3" and 300 lbs, and its comfortable for both of us. It fits well, and is super comfortable.

I bought this for possible future surgery that I might get for a shoulder impingement and partial tear of my rotator cuff and mainly for after my second steriod shot to my shoulder. I get the "steriod flare" and it really hurts so bad I could barely move my arm for about 2-3 days. This helped and I like that it's made specifically for my shoulder area. It will come in handy after I get surgery, which I'm pretty sure will happen this year while I've been on Worker's Comp for my work injury. Before I bought this I was just using ice in a bag and that doesn't work great at all. I have to hold it for one and for two it got me all wet. I saw this and I thought it was great to ice the exact areas that I have pain and inflammation. It fits my body good, but a bit loose in one area which is not a big deal. This is great for anyone with shoulder injuries or after surgery/ recovery. I recommend this ice pack! Quality: Well made, great quality Value for money: Good price
