Good quality and easy to fit
This is good quality stainless steel, nicely finished and easy to fit. The only hard part was actually drilling the door which isn’t the fault of this item!

Looks great - nice brushed steel finish & it closes firmly but quietly
This is high quality & you get what you pay for ! I had an aluminium one approx same £ for both halves, but it twisted slightly when the screws were tight & wouldn’t fully close: - this one doesn’t do that !I like the deep steel frame but was a bit disappointed by the inner frame being plastic (I had expected the slot sleeves to be plastic but the hidden parts of the frame also is). The screws just screw into a plastic cone in the outer flap frame whereas the majority of similar flaps have a thick bolt & a captive nut - however it seems to work fine. There were 2 sets of screws, one chromed & one black pair but they’re the same length. These flaps will fit a door as little as 39 mm thick but then the screws poke thru the front - it should be supplied with a 2nd shorter set. (I used a small spring washer on each screw to take up a couple of mm; you can’t cut them which you could with a bolt).Fitted easily in minutes, if your slot is 262-265 mm x 42 to about 48 mm high & bolt-hole CENTRES 272 mm apart.

Pretty awful, the front door is wrecked
No instructions, the instruction video is just for a different product: this one doesn't have four tiny screws in each of the corners. It has two large plastic in-built plastic wallplugs which require drilling quite sizeable holes into either side of the letterbox. Nothing of this in the video. The screws just lift the letterbox off the door, it's pretty crooked now. Quite a number mention the cheap plastic underneath, which I assumed was just a visual complaint. But no, putting in the screws that were delivered immediately broke the plastic (see pictures). I've now drilled into the front door to attach this crooked, half broken letterbox - so frustrating

Looks great and fitted well
I've left this review for a few months to see how it stands up to the weather and I'm pleased to say it still looks brand new.It was easy to fit, weighty and it has a nice cushioned rim so the flap doesn't clatter when it's let go.All in all there isn't much to expect with a letterbox, as it only has one function but it excels at that.

Looks great as a replacement.
Good as a replacement for our original letterbox which had tarnished badly. Time will tell if it will stand up to Devonshire weather. Straightforward 1 for 1 replacement, no issues. Door is composite type.

Good Quality letterbox That Should Last.
Just one criticism. The description says it is all stainless steel. However whilst the two flaps, including the frames, are indeed stainless steel, the internal parts, you don't see when the flaps are closed, are plastic, just like cheaper letterboxes but, it is still much better than the one that came with our front door.

good quality and as I live next to the sea , stainless steel seems like the right one

Not robust enough
This letterbox did not fit flush to the door and came apart when the delivery man pushed something large through it. Looked nice but we had to replace it.
