Black Panther: Doomwar

I love the convince of reading this in the go via Kindle and was shocked to know parts of this novel could be used in the upcoming Wakanda Forever movie.

As the title suggests this is the big battle between Wakanda and Latveria. Things start off with T’Challa having been incapacitated by a sneak attack by Dr. Doom in a previous comic. That has led his sister Shuri to assume the Black Panther. She in turn is led astray to believe that Tony Stark and Namor were behind the attack upon her brother. On the other hand, T’Challa goes into semi-seclusion to build up his strength and forces to fight the coming war with Doom.In the end the plot comes down to a battle of wits between T’Chall and Doom. Which one can outmaneuver the other? Which one can plan for the other’s expected move?After that epic confrontation the book ends with the Klaws of the Panther series where Shuri tries to hunt down vibranium and ends up fighting Klaw.This is a great volume. The writing is tight, and there are plenty of twists and turns to keep the reader thinking.

One of the best story arcs from either of the majors -- Marvel or DC -- in recent years. Maberry is a master storyteller!

Well written full of my kind of action and bad a#£ women kicking butt.

The entire lead up to Doomwar and the story itself is worth the read! One of the greatest runs of Black Panther ever told!
